Our mentoring program is developed to tap into the existing knowledge, skills, and experience of high performing women in STEM industry and transfer these skills to our current international students and female migrant STEM qualified community to advance their careers.

Big Sisters STEM Story

Women who feel like they belong are more likely to enter and stay in STEM, therefore lack of belonging is one of the reasons women of colour lack of representation in STEM.” By sharing older sisters STEM story we to make awareness of our STEM role models as ‘You can’t be what you can’t see’.

STEM Sisters partnered with the Professional Migrant Women Group #StayConnected program that we will be running weekly online sessions on Body Toning, Salsa, ZoomBalo and Meditation via Zoom to support the emotional, mental and physical wellbeing of our community.

Dress To Impress is a brand new initiative focusing on international students and migrant women to have access to suitable and affordable professional outfits for career success.

STEM Sisters Magazine is the first of its kind, dedicated to empower women of colour in STEM is Australia.
