STEM Sisters Magazine is a quarterly digital publication that is the first of its kind, dedicated to empowering women of colour in STEM in Australia.
MAGNIFY aims to provide more insight into the diversity and inclusion of STEM in Australia and to the works done by individuals in our STEM Sisters community. Through this magazine, we hope to encourage more people to join or support our community, recognize the problems faced by minority women in STEM and understand why it is important to challenge and break through certain biases that hold these individuals back from progressing in their STEM journey.
Women, especially those that are from a different cultural background, still face unemployment and experience career stagnation due to the existence of inequality and discrimination that continues to be a barrier. STEM Sisters is passionate to address this issue by producing a quarterly digital magazine to empower STEM women of colour.
