On September 17, 2024, we proudly hosted the Leadership Wisdom Panel Discussion and Networking Event, dedicated to empowering women of color in STEM. This gathering created a vibrant space for participants to share experiences, gain insights, and foster a strong community.
The event commenced at 5:15 PM at EY Sydney, welcoming an inspiring group of women. Our esteemed panel featured influential speakers who exemplified leadership and resilience in their professional journeys. They shared their unique challenges and successes, highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion in STEM fields.
Our distinguished panelists included:
- Karla Phloem Figarola, who works in Technology Consulting at EY, shared her expertise in transformation delivery and project management across various industries.
- Koon, an executive coach with over 20 years of experience, discussed her holistic approach to empowering multicultural leaders to overcome systemic barriers.
- Devanshi Seth, an internationally recognized clinical researcher, inspired attendees with her groundbreaking work in improving treatments for liver diseases.
