Social distancing is vital to slowing the spread of COVID-19. Still, it also pushes against human beings’ fundamental need for connection with one another. Especially during difficult times, people feel an urge to commiserate, to comfort and be comforted by each other.
People must remain connected; otherwise, a long-term mental and physical health crisis might follow the viral one.
STEM Sisters partnered with the Professional Migrant Women Group
#StayConnected is a program that we will be running weekly online sessions on Body Toning, Salsa, ZoomBalo and Meditation via Zoom to support the emotional, mental and physical wellbeing of our community.
