Successful September Workshop wrapup: learn how to approach STEM employers with confidence!

A big thank you to Nicole from the RMIT Skills and Jobs Centre for helping the 50+ registered attendees with learning how to approach STEM employers with confidence!

We at STEM Sisters know that getting a job in Australia with no local experience can be really daunting, but not all hope is lost!

Nicole went over some great tips for all stages of the career journey, from survival and volunteering, entry and mid-level positions, to your ultimate goal of dream job.

The discussion part also had a key message around #Networking and of course, #Mentoring! A career mentor here in Australia has been shown time and time again to assist job-hunters and career-driven individuals another edge.

Don’t forget to check out our next workshop with the RMIT Skills and Jobs Centre: https://stemsisters.org.au/events-and-workshops/

Also, you may be interested to know that STEM Sisters Mentoring program is in the works as well, so keep an eye out for more information coming around that!
