STEM Sisters Mentoring program is back in 2021!

2020 has been a challenging year for the whole world. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an uncertain economy and an exceptionally difficult for  STEM women of colour. International students and migrants will need to put in additional time and effort to ensure that they are well placed for this challenging Australian STEM industry.

As a female international student or women migrant, do you have questions like these relating to your STEM career?
  • How do I build connections with STEM industry professionals?
  • How is the COVID-19 pandemic influencing industry and the labour market?
  • Where should I start to look for job opportunities?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to talk with someone who has gone through a similar study experience and could offer advice about your STEM career development?

With the assistance of our STEM women of the colour mentor network, our STEM Sisters Mentoring Program provides extra support and career guidance for female STEM international students and women migrants. As role models and mentors, our mentors have so much to offer to our mentees and can provide insights into the successful STEM career.
